Bowing out at their creative peak, Perfect Teeth is the remarkable final album by American 90s indie rock legends Unrest. Having just celebrated 30 years, 4AD and the band are revisiting it to release a remastered edition of the original album on black vinyl. This will be accompanied by a celebratory double CD of Perfect Teeth / Extra Teeth, featuring the remastered album and a bonus disc of EP tracks, singles, and rarities. Taking their name from a Henry Cow record, Unrest formed in 1983 at Wakefield High School in Arlington, Virginia, just outside of Washington, D.C. Initially starting as an improv instrumental band, they soon began perfecting a genre-hopping eclectic style and releasing recordings, often in cassette form, through frontman Mark Robinsons DIY label TeenBeat, as well as on renowned indie labels such as 4AD, Caroline, and Matador.
