Sonny's Dream (Birth of the New Cool)" is an album by jazz saxophonist Sonny Criss from 1968, which was released by Prestige. In addition to the pieces written and arranged by Horace Tapscott, Criss plays with Conte Candoli, Teddy Edwards, Tommy Flanagan and many others. This reissue, described as part of the "Core Collection" by the Penguin Guide to Jazz, is released as part of the Original Jazz Classics series on 180-gram vinyl pressed at RTI and fully analog mastered from the original tapes at Cohearent Audio and Stoughton Tip-On Jacket.
