Sun Ra's second album, "Super-Sonic Jazz," was recorded in 1956 at RCA Studios in Chicago first to appear on Saturn Records, the label run by Sun Ra and Alton Abraham. The Distribution policy of the two was more than strange. It could happen that records were produced in editions of 20 for occasions, there was no promotion, no samples, mail order was usually the only distribution Distribution channel, where customers often got something other than what they had ordered. Fortunately, "Super- Sonic Jazz" - remastered with original artwork - is now available for everyone anytime and anywhere.
