Live and Loud is the first independent release of the MTV performance in Seattle on December 13, 1993, which was previously only available in the 2013 In Utero 20 Years Super Deluxe Box. The Nirvana show was broadcast on MTV on New Year's Eve 1993 and is considered one of the best concerts the band has ever given
The album contains tracks from the entire discography of the band. Among them are the well-known grunge hits "Come As You Are" and "Lithium", but also the cover of David Bowie's "The Man Who Sold The World"
Including a replica of the show's backstage pass.
