  • After three albums with the Marcus King Band, Marcus King releases his eagerly awaited solo debut.
    "El Dorado" is the name of the record that the 23-year-old singer, guitarist and songwriter is sending into the race in 2020.
    He recorded twelve songs for it, with no less a producer than Black Keys mastermind Dan Auerbach at Easy Eye Studio in Nashville, Tennessee. They composed all pieces of "El Dorado" together with songwriters like Pat McLaughlin, Paul Overstreet and Ronnie Bowman.
    This time King wasn't supported by his own band as usual, but by Auerbach's studio staff, including top-class pianist Bobby Wood, drummer Gene Chrisman and bassist Dave Roe.
    The former blues prodigy can't be stopped. Emotional blues, rousing rock - "El Dorado" has everything your heart desires.
