'Nothing's About to Happen to Me' is Mitski's eighth studio album, created entirely by her with vocals and songwriting. Produced and engineered by Patrick Hyland, and mastered by Bob Weston, the album also features drums and logistical support from Kris Bulakowski. Building on the musical themes introduced in 'The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We,' this album showcases live instrumentation from The Land's touring band and rich ensemble arrangements. The orchestra was recorded at Sunset Sound and TTG Studios, with arrangements and conducting by Drew Erickson, engineered by Michael Harris, with extra engineering by Isaac Diskin and support from Alex Miller. Highlights include singles like "Where's My Phone?," "I'll Change for You," and "If I Leave.' Currently, Mitski is working on the music and lyrics for the upcoming musical adaptation of 'The Queens Gambit.' Her concert film, 'Mitski: The Land,' recently premiered in 27 countries, accompanied by 'The Land: The Live Album.'
