It is the fourth part in the bands multi-act conceptual saga. The narrative picks up after Act III: Life and Death, with the protagonist assuming the identity of his deceased half-brother in the aftermath of World War I. The album blends orchestral and symphonic elements with indie, prog, and experimental rock, pushing the story on with dramatic instrumentation and rich composition.
